Mainstage
The Ensemble Theatre of Chattanooga will seek
out a variety of scripts to produce that appeal to us on a creative level
and that will also satisfy our audience. We may re-imagine the
classics, give birth to the next great masterpiece or simply remount
the successful. We are a theatre dedicated to impressing intellectual
patrons, raising public awareness, and culturally enriching a community.
Our goal is to create dialogue when the show ends.
Theatre For Young Audiences
An
important facet to the programming of ETC will be presenting plays that are
appropriate for the entire family. The goal behind
these productions will be to create a dialogue amongst the family about the
play they just saw. From historical figures to popular children's
literature, as artists we have an obligation to foster an appreciation of
arts in our children. Some of these shows will be available for tours
New Play Tuesdays
A hallmark of the Ensemble Theatre of
Chattanooga is giving voices to new and emerging playwrights. On the
first Tuesday of each month, ETC will present staged readings of new works of
theatre. These plays may be finished products, they may be works in
progress or they may be the outcome of educational projects.
